Art has over 30 years of leadership; investigative; organizational; business management; problem solving and professional safety management experience. He is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) and a Certified Health and Safety Consultant (CHSC) . His skill set assists organizations and corporations to mitigate risk and improve their safety systems to recover financial losses from identified safety deficiencies.
The Province of Alberta recognizes Art as a qualified Railway Safety Management System Auditor and a Railway Incident Investigator.
Art provides incident investigation training for the University of Alberta’s OH&S Program.
Art is a Former President of the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering (CSSE).
